My wife Sandy and I from Ct., have just acquired these two units. I'll send some pics when I figure out how. Great job in setting up this forum. Lots of info I'm sure Ill be needing. Number #0092 does not have the ID tag mounted by the door. Does anyone know if a replacement tag is available? It has an ignition key, but is missing keys for the compartment doors. Is there a master key for these, or might there be info somewhere that includes key #s?

Thanks

compartment keys are common to all coaches, just use the one from your other coach. Other than having a speciality shop make you a custom tag I don't think you'll be able to get anywhere with that...typically any tag with a VIN number scares shops away from the work...and in some states if that tag is consider "the VIN Tag" then it's illegal to reproduce them..

Look for another VIN ID Tag by/in the driver door step.

Hello, and thank you both for touching base. My name is Mark. We haven't actually taken possession of them yet. We only saw them for a short time and completed the paperwork to change ownership. They have been garaged for the last 8 years. Going next week to get the older one (73) running and checked out before hitting the road. The (76) I was told has some mechanical/electrical issues and most likely will need to be towed. That should be an adventure in itself... How cool is this to be able to own something that was in such limited production. I also notice that the nose on the (73) is very different from others I see in other pics. It has a recessed bumper, not protruding out like others.

Lou,
I will share much more info with you all as I gather it. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. We live in the central part of this tax heavy state, and Unfortunately I did not ever have the privilege of meeting them.
