Subject: Hooking up Honda EV6010 Genereator to old Onan Dash Start Switch

Hey Team. So I am playing with some "dead wires" in the engine compartment and I found a bundle that were for remote starting the old Onan. I now have a Honda EV 6010 as my current generator. I wired up the Generator to the old Onan circuit and it does not activate (start) nor kill the Honda. I have a complex wiring chart to go through, but I was wondering if before I spend 2 days with all of this someone has a "Did you hook this wire up to that" or a "When I put my generator in we had to" comment that would shorten my time seeing if this will even work.
