Does anyone have the part numbers for the U joints in the drive axels. Right now the part number for the outer u joint is needed but would like to have both referenced in this thread.

Thank you,

borg Warner 114-7207(trans to diff) and borg Warner 114-7205 (prop shaft to wheel)

IIRC: Billy sent me these recently.

I'm doing mine soon, too.

Terry, did you mean differential to the axel for the first number?

I just went through my email archives to try to confirm if in fact it was Billy that sent me this info. Can't find anything so now I'm wondering if I got them off the forum or something.

Hopefully someone will chime in here. Didn't Dan just do his?

I think I sent my self the email description above as a quick reference for myself. I think it means: the first number is for the driveshaft U-joints (input) and the second is for the prop-shafts (output). That said, didn't I just read recently on one of Dans posts that the two U-joints in the prop shafts are different?

Again, hope someone chimes in here as I'm now some confused.

05 is differential end of side axle. 07 is outer wheel end. Not input driveshaft from transmission.

Figures I'd screw it up somehow.

Thanks for clarifying Billy!

Thank you everyone. The driveline shop in Eugene had two of them in stock.

No Terry, I chimed in recently on differential output yoke grease seals, and I just did a stub axle job. My u-joints still look to be good. I will be referring to this thread though Im sure when I do need to buy u-joints....Im about to search tie rod end numbers.....Stephen?
