I'm looking to replace the oversized and aged Carefree Colorado awning I have with something much smaller, perhaps 8 to 10ft vs the 16ft I have now. I've heard good things about Fiama F45S awnings, anyone else have feedback on this or something similar?

What ? WHAT ? A Previous FMC #1027 Owner paid several thousand dollars American to RVS to lower the top of the side door so a FULL LENGTH Awning could be installed, and now you want to get some window awning ? Why don't you get a nice beach umbrella, or go to Tijuana and get a couple of those really BIG SOMBREROS ?
Just joking ! Lou #120

If the quality of the install was even remotely satisfactory I might consider keeping it, but, it's awful; as is/was every other RVS install on my coach. The other contributing factor is that one of the previous owners must have left it out during heavy rain and it's badly bowed in the center so it won't even close properly in the center. A couple dozen Sombreros cinched together may do the trick and save me a few bucks!
