Location: Oceanside, CA | Over the past couple weekends I pulled all four of my large side windows apart (remove both the sliding and fixed pane) because they were choked up with 20 plus years of dirt and leaking inside. In all four cases I found that the fixed pane seal at the bottom had failed and was the major source of the leaks. A lot of effort is required to disassemble, clean (both the seals and the frame channels) and reseal/install without breaking anything. I had one other funky leak, on the kitchen side window, four of the rivets that attach the frame to the body had worked loose and were allowing water in around them.
I didn't take a lot of pictures as it was dirty, wet work but here are some of the seals.

Len, I was going to make a comment on one of the pictures, but it appears that you did not check to box to allow comments for this album. |

Location: Oceanside, CA | For those of you looking for options for the window channel run felts this could probably be made to work if you add something to the bottom of it to increase it's height.

Location: Cottage Grove, OR | That is the same material as is sold by Vintage Trailer on their website. I have written to Vintage Trailer with a sample of our material to see if they can help source the original window felt. I agree that the linked material will work with a 1/4 inch spacer underneath this material. The spacer could be either plastic or aluminum. At the rally, we will discuss the option of using Trimloc and how it is installed. |

After some digging through boxes and bags stored in the rig from when I got it I'm down to just needing one more of these. |

Hard to tell in the bag but it looks like this might have the handle but can't be sure. If not...
I found a lot of 6 some time back. They have 2 small holes on top and bottom but they would otherwise be the same as original. Having 4 (not for parts) coaches it is always hard to part with parts. If none show up I will see about digging one out. Winter finally hit Colorado. #902 half way in/out of shop, front says oh no, snow, and rear says bolt that engine in and head south.

Location: Oceanside, CA | with the 1 7/8" on center dimension for the holes they appear smaller, but, the one window that needs a latch is the small side door window so I think they might be a good fit. I bought them so we'll see.
These appear to be a match:

at 4" long I think you just cut off a bit on each end to eliminate the holes and they would be about the same length. I may buy a pair of them as well.. |

Item G looks like it might work . . .
Maybe clean off what is around/in the two holes and NOT cut anything . . . to have more surface AREA for the magic glue.

Location: Oceanside, CA | Mill Supply and Stepvanparts are the same store, and those are actually the same part number so we're thinking alike. |

Location: Oceanside, CA | Follow up on the window latches. The one I bought on ebay didn't pan out. I bought two of the Mill Supply 38-281 latches and cut them down to remove the fastener holes and they work perfectly. Here's some pic's: http://www.fmcowners.com/mbbs22/photos/show-album.asp?albumid=154&p...
