New Rally Destinations

Barney and Connie Posted 2007-01-09 4:51 AM (#197) Subject: New Rally Destinations Veteran Location: Kingsley Michigan I am very happy to have been elected the Midwest VP of this fine club. Am starting out looking for ideas and peoples desires for times and places to have rallys. The sooner we nail down the schedule--the sooner I can post this groups happenings in the FMCA Magazine---and maybe bring in more members!!!! First, I think we should see how many people would be willing to come out to a pre Memorial day get together. Then there is the Berrian Springs Glass (Great Lakes Area Spring Spree) FMCA Rally Memorial weekend--May 24-28 in south west Michigan that should be a good prospect. Check out the web site for this 1000 coach event at http://www.michiganknights.com/GLASS07.html Later in the year---a trip somewhere east to join up with our eastern group and of course----a trip westward to catch up with old friends and new members! Am looking for suggestions as to specific areas of interest----both for locations and times of convenience for travel----- SOOOO-----let's hear from you!!! If you can firm up dates and stay away from Holidays all the BETTER. RALLIES planned near or at larger Rallies will work for many FMC Owners. The more in advance of RALLY the date and site are firm the better attendance you will have. I, personally, will attempt to make all the RALLIES this year providing I can get time around my Chemotherapy. RALLIES in Upper New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Minnesota have been rare or not at all. HAPPY TRAILS - Leslie
