Location: Botkins, Ohio (206.51.134.204) | I have 1973 #55 coach and the front and rear marker lights are very rusty. Can anyone help me find original replacements that look new? or should i send them out to get chromed?

Location: Cottage Grove, OR (97.94.224.253) | I do not know of a source of ones like the originals used on the earlier coaches. If you want to retain that light, then I would plan on rebuilding the ones that you have. I do like those clearance lights!

I kept looking on E-bay and finally collected 10 good frames/sockets, gaskets, real good lenses, some painted covers, some used chrome.
Had them all re-plated and changed all to LED bulbs.
RED led bulbs are BRIGHTER shining thru red lenses, than bright white. Couldn't tell much difference between white or yellow/amber LEDs thru yellow/amber lenses.
It may take a while to get 5 red and 5 yellow good running lights. Keep at it. Lou #120

I'm running them now and couldn't be happier. Look great, use little juice and have an awesome gasket that I believe won't leak for 20 yrs or more.
Options... options... leave it alone already.
Good luck.

Location: Lavallette, NJ 08735 (72.88.129.131) | If this helps, I found some vintage chrome ones on ebay that are an exact match, with "PM 112". and "SAE 61 P" on them...

Location: Botkins, Ohio (206.51.134.242) | I found the lights on ebay they matched mine perfectly. thank you fmc for the info. I sent in 7 to be chromed at a local Harley Davidson dealer. they returned in OK shape I paid $30 each. I chose the cheapest chrome option, could have be up to $200 each for a perfect job. I am happy to have the original lights and they look fine.

Location: Medford, OR (204.10.247.1) | 30 dollars each? ouch. And they weren't done real well? Thats crazy. It's been a while since I've had anything chromed, sounds like prices have sky rocketed.

Location: Medford, OR (204.10.247.1) | Our local plating out fit closed there doors a few years ago (strong local economy you know)...We have to send items to CA now I'm told. I thought about having my factory split/rim/ring wheels chrome plated...I made some calls, and was told they would have to remove the factory welds, re-weld the rim with a certain rod type, then chrome. The price was VERY expensive. So.....that is when a couple cans of stainless steel color paint come in handy...at least I think that is what I am going to use....

Location: Victoria, BC. Canada (108.180.28.87) | Tremclad has a nice gloss-alum works good. It actually looks like alum when you first put it on but loses some of its luster when it dries.
If I can't find a decent place (at a decent $$$) to re-chrome my door hinges here in Victoria, I'll likely use that paint as well. They sure need it.

Location: Medford, OR (107.77.97.107) | Yeah Andy, I have some "stainless steel" color made by Dupli-Color. I used some of it on 184's rear bumper to see how it would look, and I was surprised. If I remember correctly it had a deep metal flake semi-gloss sheen to it. Pretty neat stuff. I'll try one wheel and hope it's not to over the top bright...
