Location: Rushville, IL (74.36.191.83) | Hello,
I just pulled home #0006 from MCR. It's going to take some work to get it back on the road, as it has been parked for a long time. I just drained out the old stale gas. Next, I'll pull the carb out and tear it down. The wife and kids are busy scrubbing out the interior.
Wish us luck,
Dan Vining

let us know what you run into---Do the brakes and wheel bearings first---If it don't roll or stop---it is no good!
Where did you drag ole 0006 to?

Location: Rushville, IL (74.36.191.83) | I'm in Rushville, IL . I hope the wheel bearings turn out to be ok. The coach only has 71,000 miles. I working on the fuel system first, so I can at least move it around. I know the brakes are going to a challenge!

Location: Cottage Grove, OR (75.24.203.133) | Your coach looks good! We had three coaches of that color at a rally here in CA in November of '09. I second what Barney has said about putting the various wheel bearing on the short list so that good bearings and races don't get messed up. Just take them apart, clean them, repack and put back together and all should be good. Note that each rear wheel has both the hub bearing accessed by removing the rear hub and also the axel bearings which are accessed by dropping the axel and extracting the axel from the inside of the wheel assembly. Pictures are on the Yahoo site and in the manuals.
I don't know if you have all three manuals that are available, but if you are missing any they can be downloaded at

I look forward to meeting you on the road.
