Location: Canton, (Sixes) GA (24.30.36.240) | The trip was a good although very hot and some torrential rain. No takers on FMC talk. Visited Busch Gardens and we (read Roy) had a real good time. Put 1020 miles on the coach, ran between 180 and 205 degrees depending on conditions. Three fans in the engine compartment, 11" left door, 14" right door and 16" behind radiator, all pullers. They make little if any difference at highway speeds. They do reduce cool down time considerably and help reduce heat sink into the bedroom (lounge).
Couple of problems - turn signal flasher quit, don't like to be without turn signals, might run over someone. Finally found NAPA and replaced with a 552 heavy duty.
I have a 3 year old pretty basic 50 amp automatic transfer switch like this one -

Saturday morning while breaking camp the 50 amp cord accidently got pulled while the air conditioners were still running. Later, tried to use the generator and it would not come on line/switch over. Still works on shore power, but will not switch to the genset. I took the cover off the transfer switch and it looks normal, pushed on the center tabs and they seemed to move in and out ok. No crispy critter smell.. The genset was not running at the time. Any Idea's? I have not checked for 120V from the genset, too tired and the heat index is 110 degrees right now... If transfer switch replacement is the answer, any recommendations on a new one? Google presented several interesting choices.. Thanks, Denny

Location: Canton, (Sixes) GA (24.30.36.240) | It cooled off a few nano degrees so I checked the genset and it is producing 121 volts.. the auto switch is not transfering/engaging like it's suposed to. Will see if I can replace that module, if not will probably do as Lou suggests and install a 50 RV Amp outlet and wire for manual switching...ds
