Location: Cottage Grove, OR | Greetings all! Yes, you have read correctly. There is going to be a Mini-(e.g. unofficial) rally in Oregon. Us westerners are too far west to make the other rally happening in Wisconsin. Additionally, Frank B. who has coach #645 and is from Ontario, Canada will be continuing on out west after he and his family attend the Wisconsin rally and so a small rally is being organized by myself to capitalize on the rare opportunity for someone from the far east side of the continent to get together with a few fellow FMC owners from the far west. If you are from the west, this is your chance to see an “Easterner”. Frank has a very well done, unique coach and everyone that attends will enjoy seeing him, his family and his coach as well as the other attendees. Currently there are four coaches that are planning on being at the rally which will be held at Casey’s Riverside RV park. This RV park sits on the bank of the Willamette river which is a major Oregon river in a forested area of Oregon (bring fishing pole!). A review of the park is at the following link - http://tinyurl.com/kt7oh8 The rally site is about 6 hours south of Seattle, WA and 7 hours north of Sacramento, CA and 30 mins east of Eugene, OR. Those coming from the south could take a side trip up the CA/OR coastlines to add to their trip. The rally location is about 30 mins east of I-5 on Oregon hwy 58 so it is easy to get to. Location: Cottage Grove, OR | Well, we had a great time! It was a great setting and great company. I would like to personnally welcome Ed Hannevig to the group as this was his first rally. He has a great, neat, well cared for coach. The attendees all enjoyed the rally and some plan on returning to the park. The rally reinforced how nice it is to meet and visit with other FMC coach owners. Please attend any rallies that you can. All of the people at this rally will be attending all of the future rallies that they can. You have seen our pictures in the photo album I just put together so now you need to come to a rally and see and talk to us in person. Jane and I might bring some unusual food for you to try as we did for this rally. | |
