Location: Santa Cruz, CA (47.153.143.201) | Hi All,
Hope everyone had a great holiday! I am wondering if there is database somewhere that lists the manufacturers and their part numbers for the standard parts used on our motor coaches? When you go in to the local auto parts store and tell them you're looking for a master cylinder for a 1974 FMC motor home, they look at you like you just got off a space ship. I'm starting what will likely be a long restoration of #583 and it would be really useful to say I'm looking for a Bendix 347-86 (or whatever). I have the service manual but it is severely lacking in the manufacturers and part number area.
Thank you for your assistance!

Also Tom, don't be afraid to hit the 'Search' button (first on the top toolbar) then enter say, 'master cylinder' in the search bar, set the button to 'all posts' etc and presto, it'll bring up a crap-ton of prior discussions and info about it.
However, questions are welcome always and there's lot's of good folks on here to help.
Good luck,
Terry
