Any recommendations for a shop to rebuild the 440 on west coast?

What part of the west coast do you call home? I am in Oregon and know of a reputable shop in Gilroy, CA. Also know of a relatively low mileage 440 that will be available in the north too distant future.

I have coach 1046 which is the number before your coach.

HI: I am in San Jose, so Gilroy is close. Having engine evaluated on Sat. so will know more then. Odometer shows 152K was told by seller that he was told it was rebuilt at 89K but no paperwork .

Welcome: tell the builder to put the '6BT-Cummins kit' into it.

Ha ha!
Good luck.

Terry, you need to get yours on the road first! Then you can sell the “kit”!

I am in Santa Cruz and I have not found a good shop for that kind of work either. So, the Gilroy location is pretty good.
