Hi everyone from NYC, former covid epicenter, now looters paradise. Been away with family issues. Now back with a pressing question: The shop says I need new tires, but finding tires for the original three piece rims is proving nearly impossible. Not only that, but I am told that working on three piece rims is difficult and dangerous, so I should go to a one piece rim.Furthermore, they say that tubeless tires don't fit on a three piece rim. I have searched for a five lug rim that is not a three piece but so far have come up with nothing. Am I going to have to replace the hubs? Can anyone provide clarity and hope on my issue? Thanks in advance.
