Location: Cottage Grove, OR | I just got a phone call from Al Mohr who is the owner of this coach. He advised me that he is now getting serious about selling his coach. He purchased it a number of years ago from the estate of a person that put a lot of money into cleaning up and polishing the coach. Al has enjoyed owning it, but is beyond the point of being able to use it. Starts and runs perfectly. It has a beautiful interior and the mechanicals are in first rate condition. The pictures tell the story of how well it has been restored. A number of years ago, I happened to go by RVS and saw this coach receiving a fresh engine rebuild. The interior was done by other parties.
Here is link to photos of the coach: https://www.montereymohrimports.com/vehicleimageall.aspx?cmb=0|79926...
Contact AL Mohr for further information or to discuss the coach. Phone 831-905-3909 or 831-659-5153 |

Did you call him for a price? He never mentioned a price to me. It was at a high price a couple of years ago, but I think that by his comment that he is now serious about selling it that the price is very negotiable. For some people, the fit and finish of the coach is much more important than the powerplant. You and I enjoy our Duramax coaches, but that is not for everyone. |

Location: Medford, OR | I'm curious as to why flip the generator around? Is it to check the oil easier?? That would be the only benefit I can see at the moment.... Or did some of the early coaches just come from the factory that way? |

That is the old price from a couple of years ago. Verbally he was lower than that two years ago so it was his starting point back then.
You can go lower but you can’t go up! |

Location: Medford, OR | Isn't it more like 100+hp and a 7mpg increase over the old 440 when you have a fuel heater?? |

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-fmc-2900-r/
There are 65 photos (click on +25) . . . which include 7 pages of "work orders". They should make all those that do their own work on their own FMC feel pretty well paid !
It is also interesting to go to the bottom (earliest) Comments and read up.
It only costs a whole lot more to go First Class !

Location: Victoria, BC. Canada | Lots of interesting work done on this coach. It's also an 'A' model which I'm partial to. Might have been a conversion to an A-model. The aft seat-back appears conspicuously low.
Wondering where the center dash heat controls etc went to? Without the heat/AC controls maybe it just runs in either: bake or Eskimo mode?
I like the overhead cabinet work above the dash; the perforated rear panel behind the genny, same as the one behind the rad ( which I'm also considering doing to mount the oil, trans and inter coolers on my project ).
Engine house appears to have gotten lots of 'de-clutter' attention.
Not crazy about the air intake sucking from the hottest-air in the engine house.
All in all a nice coach.

Location: Scottsdale, Aridzona | Didn't look before . . . This Website Coach Data Base says A model, bought by the same guy that is in the "Bring a Trailer" link . . . but he indicates all this occurred in 2014 !
But Pictures show 2018 Californicatia Plates.
